Stage and Character Selection Rules

  1. Character Selection: Players select their character before the stage is chosen.

  2. Stage Counterpick Rule (DSR): Players cannot counterpick to any stage they have already won on in the current set (Full DSR).

Game 1 Stage Striking Process

  • Players perform a round of rock-paper-scissors. The winner (Player 1) starts banning stages from the list of Starter stages in the following order:

    • P1-P2-P2-P1

  • The last remaining stage will be used for Game 1.

Post-Game Stage Banning Process

  • Best-of-3 (BO3):

    • The winning player bans 2 stages from the entire Stage List (Starters + Counterpicks).

    • The losing player confirms the winning player’s character selection, then chooses the stage they want to play on next.

  • Best-of-5 (BO5):

    • The winning player bans 1 stage from the entire Stage List (Starters + Counterpicks).

    • The losing player confirms the winning player’s character selection, then chooses the stage they want to play on next..
