SEE 2024: OUR PURPOSE, PANELS, AND WORKSHOPS

 Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):  

Target 1: Increase number of divisions engaged with MSEA.  

Target 2: Increase female-identifying and gender-diverse participation.  

 SEE aims to increase engagement with MSEA by involving more school divisions across Manitoba. We are committed to promoting gender diversity by encouraging participation from female-identifying and gender-diverse individuals. At the Scholastic Esports Expo, we celebrate gaming and foster a vibrant community in Manitoba. Join us on this exciting journey!

Fundraiser:
We also welcome Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg who will be partnering with us as they raise funds for their program.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg (BBBS) will be running a booth and our fun activities for both days scheduled before grand finals. They will be looking for donations from the school level and when we hit certain $ values, will unlock fun activities that BBBS staff, coaches, and students can participate in!  MSEA has contributed $500 worth of gift cards and PNP Games has donated $200 worth of giftcards that students will receive for participation in these activities.  Your school can donate here, prior to the event: https://winnipeg.bigbrothersbigsisters.ca/donate/

EVENT SCHEDULE & DETAILS:

Location: Red River College Polytech - Manitou A Bi Bii Daziigae, 319 Elgin Ave.   When: May 23-24 – 9:00am – 5:00pm (both days)  (Rural Schools - reach out with bussing/time issues if needed)

Lunch: Students bring their own; teachers can order: Pizza, Skip, or walk to nearby restaurants 

Number of students/chaperones: Up to the school and student interest (see information below for how many teams and students to send per title/day)     

Registration for a single day: $150 (Thursday OR Friday) 

Registration for both days: $250 (Thursday AND Friday)  *Invoice for direct billing will be sent to your school upon registration. 

Schools are eligible to send one (1) team PER team-game title and two (2) teams PER fighting-game title (Brawlhalla & Super Smash Bros. Ultimate).   

Registration covers participation in both Middle Years and Senior Years divisions (i.e. K12 schools may participate in both MY and SY divisions with one registration)

FRIDAY – May 24

o  Valorant (Team = 5 players)  o  Brawlhalla (Team = 2 players)  o  Super Smash Bros Ultimate (Team = 2 players)
